What are the Top 100 Best DS Games of All Time? The 32bit DS/DSLite/DSi/DSi XL line, Nintendo’s successor to the Game Boy line, were two-screened, touch-screen-enabled portable game systems that took the world by storm; continuing Nintendo’s massive success as the portable keymaker by dropping retro masterpieces left & right since it’s 2004 debut. And even though it’s nearly 2015, you can still find new DS games in a few stores.
Top 100 Best DS Games of All Time
Having sold over 154 million systems worldwide as of September 2014, the Nintendo DS is now the second best-selling videogame console of all time (only beaten out by the PS2 which sits at 155 million) and is THE single best-selling videogame handheld system ever, even defeating the original Game Boy! (118 million sold).

Because the Nintendo DS (original 2004 model, also called the “Phat”) and DS Lite (2006) are backwards compatible with the entire library of Game Boy Advance games (they include a GBA slot on the bottom that allows you to play any GBA game), the original DS Lite makes a FANTASTIC system and is a must-own for any gamer. Making the deal even sweeter, the current Nintendo 3DS also plays original DS & DSi games, as well as digital DS games available via the 3DS eShop.
It’s worth noting that the digital DSiWare games are NO LONGER ACCESSIBLE on the DSi or DSi XL systems. These systems were upgrades to the DS/DS Lite that included a camera, and a new menu that allowed you to download digital games, with hundreds available, via the DSi Shop. However the DSi Shop is discontinued, so if you get a DSi or DSi XL (DS & DS Lite don’t have this functionality) you cannot access any of the digital titles mentioned on this list (which is why other games are put there to replace them marked by the slash).
However all is not lost, as mentioned above, these digital DSiWare games ARE available via the eShop on the Nintendo 3DS, the successor to the DS system. So even though it requires a completely different system, you can still play all the digital games on this list.
With hundreds of amazing games in every genre, the Nintendo DS is a powerhouse of gaming and a force to be reckoned with. Without further ado, here is the 100 Best DS Games of All Time.

PS: I absolutely adore the Nintendo DS. It’s got an absolutely phenomenal lineup of outstanding games and amazing remakes. Games like Elite Beat Agents (one of my all-time personal favorite games ever) and the Brain Age titles & Picross/Crossword/Club Games, etc. really changed the game at the time.
The DS also made it possible to have the 3DS, and set the standard for a dual-screened, touch-screen-based game system which were total innovations at the time that were predicted to fail. It even had a built-in microphone… all features that have now become standard in the industry, especially with the rise of iOS & Android (which are all touch-based).
But with games like Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, New Super Mario Bros., Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, the Professor Layton series, Yoshi’s Island DS, the Dragon Quest remakes (IV, V, VI, as well as IX), all of the many Pokemon titles (from Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Crystal to Conquest & Ranger), Kirby Mass Attack, etc… the system is just overflowing with quality. You cannot go wrong with a Nintendo DS!
Tell us what YOUR favorite DS games of all time are! Do they match up with this list?

Narutovideo games have appeared for various consoles from Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. Most of them are fighting games in which the player directly controls one of a select few characters based on their counterparts in the Naruto anime and manga. The player pits their character against another character controlled by the game's AI or by another player, depending on the mode the player is in. The objective is to reduce the opponent's health to zero using basic attacks and special techniques unique to each character derived from techniques they use in the Naruto anime or manga.[1] The first Naruto video game was Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō, which was released in Japan on March 27, 2003, for the WonderSwan Color.[2] Most Naruto video games have been released only in Japan. The first games released outside Japan were the Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen series and the Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu series, released in North America under the titles of Naruto: Clash of Ninja and Naruto: Ninja Council.[3][4] In January 2012, Namco Bandai announced that they have sold 10 million Naruto games worldwide.[5]
